Now in its eighth year, CMG SHORT FILM FESTIVAL will screen four programs of short films on Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13, at the beautiful West Hollywood City Council Chambers (625 N. San Vicente Blvd, West Hollywood 90069). As always, the Festival is an all-proceeds benefit for AIDS Walk Los Angeles.
As in the past, most of the films screened will be LGBTQ themed. “We have looked at hundreds of films to come up with these programs,” says Festival Director Jim Hoffman, “and we are proud of the programs that have emerged from the process.” The sources of these films include Outfest and Frameline, the two largest LGBTQ film festivals, but we also draw from an extensive network of filmmakers and talent submitting through the Film Freeway submission platform. Screening times for the four programs are 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. both days.
Members of MENSWALK groups are entitled to a discount on advance purchases. You should receive a code you can use for this.
This program is presented in part with the support of the City of West Hollywood’s Arts Division. Because the City of West Hollywood is a co-sponsor, patrons and guests of the Festival enjoy FREE PARKING in the 5-story City Parking Structure adjacent to the Festival.
